Easter Sunday in San Pedro

Today Parker, Kristen, Shannon, Lauren, and I attended mass at San Pedro Roman Catholic Church.  It was a great mass and the Father is American so it wasn't so "foreign", but it was so hot in there.  They do no have air condition so I was literally dripping sweat the whole time.  Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy going to church on Easter! It made us all want to go and have Easter dinner with our families! We were talking about all the foods our grandmas and moms would make.

After mass, we headed back to the Inn and just hung out for a little bit.  We found out the other day that this place called BC's was having a barbeque.  So we get there around 1 pm and order food.  However, they had more than just BBQ chicken.  I decided to get 2 shrimp kebobs.  It came with baked beans, potato salad and 2 tortillas.  It was so good!! However, it was a little pricey ($10 USD or $20 BZD).  While we were sitting there I look out and see a catamaran sitting in the ocean! I know Michael loves sailing, so I took a picture for him.

After BC's we headed back to Pedro's Inn and we walked along the beach.  It's so beautiful! Some of the girls decided they wanted to go back to this place they found that had hammicks.  However, I wanted to go to the pool so I decided to back to Pedro's.  When I got there it was packed with people so I decided to go back to my room.

We are leaving tomorrow to go inland for a week so I needed to pack all of my things.  We are putting all of our things into one room since we will be back on Friday.  We are just bringing a back pack of stuff to last us 4 1/2 days : ) I am super excited because it will be nice to get away from San Pedro for a little bit.  However, I will miss the beach!

I am not sure what the internet situation is like in San Ignacio, but I will try and update while I am there : )

Good night and Happy Easter!
